Jeremy Clarkson accidently found himself crashing Danny Dyer’s wedding party.

The Grand Tour presenter had reportedly checked himself into Chewton Glen hotel in Hampshire for a ‘quiet weekend’, only to discover that it was the venue for Dyer’s nuptials.

According to reports, the 56-year-old was more than a little surprised to find hundreds of Dyer’s friends and family arriving at the five-star hotel on Saturday.

“Jeremy couldn’t believe it,” a source told The Sun.

“He was laughing to the guests how he had tried to go away for a quiet weekend and ended up walking onto the set of EastEnders.

“He said congratulations to Danny and Jo and then made himself scarce.”

Dyer, 39, tied the knot with his childhood sweetheart Mas in front of friends, family and 30 members of the EastEnders cast at the weekend.

The actor’s on-screen family including Kellie Bright, Maddy Hill, Linda Henry and Danny Hatchard were all on hand to help them celebrate.

And it certainly wasn’t a tame affair, with the event culminating in a huge fireworks display in the grounds of the hotel.

One guest told The Mirror: “This wedding was never going to disappoint. They both love a good time, as do all of their friends - it’s a proper knees up.

“With 150 close friends and family - and many of them as keen on a party as Danny is - this was never going to be a quiet affair.”

The couple had a joint stag and hen do at V Festival last month, ending in Dyer sporting a black eye after a run-in with Mark Wright’s friends.
