Jerry Hall decided to make her panto debut at 58 because of her fond memories of going to watch one with ex-husband Mick Jagger and their four children, she revealed today.

The actress and model also says the Rolling Stones frontman will be joining her and daughters Elizabeth and Georgia May and sons James and Gabriel at her home in Richmond on Christmas Day.

She will appear as the Wicked Queen in Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs at Richmond Theatre from Friday. “I’m so thrilled to be doing my first pantomime,” she said. “I’ve been asked before, but declined because I had four children at home.

“Christmas was such a big thing, but now they’re getting older I can do it. Mick and I always had a tradition of taking the children to see the pantomime at Richmond Theatre.

“We did it every year — even after we divorced — so this time he’s going to bring all the kids to see me in the show.” She said she hopes to get a good booing “then I know I’ll be doing it right”.

She separated from Jagger in 1999 and has been dating Professor Armand Leroi since January. But the former couple will be spending Christmas together, with Sir Mick filling the stockings for their children.

Hall told Surrey Life magazine: “We’re friends and we’ve completely moved on. Mick is bright and funny, and tries hard to keep up with the children. We had a friendly divorce, and that’s especially important if you have children.

“I get Christmas Day off, so it will be the six of us. My son James is a great cook so for the last couple of years the kids have been doing Christmas. I set the table and get the crackers out and they do all the cooking. Mick fills the stockings. He does very good stockings! I love Christmas at home … I’ve been associated with the rock-star lifestyle for so long people don’t realise I’m a down-home girl who grew up on a farm. I even keep chickens and grow organic veg.”
