Joe Lycett has poked fun at Wayne Lineker’s bizarre Instagram post in search of a partner.

Lineker, the younger brother of Match of the Day host Gary Lineker, previously claimed his loved ones are pressuring him to search for love.

“My family have decided I need a girlfriend for my own sanity and health,” he wrote on Instagram on Tuesday night.

The 58-year-old then set out a bizarre list of criteria, including that the lucky lady must enjoy flying business class, be prepared to give up her career and must like Money Heist on Netflix.

Now, Lycett has posted a selfie parodying Lineker's list of stipulations.

Starting off “normal,” Lycett asked for a “Strong nice loving personality,” before moving on to “more important things”.

“Must like omelette. Must enjoy egg omelette. Must like scrambled egg. Must like cake with egg in it. Must like egg fried rice (but not other rice). Must like Cadbury creme egg. Must like fried egg,” he wrote.

“Must like frittata made with egg. Must like those shakshukas you get in posh coffee shops (but only if made with egg). Must like scotch egg. Must like custard (if it is egg custard). Must be Alan Sugar. Must like boiled egg.”

Lineker’s list was met with bewilderment on social media, with one Twitter user writing: “Has Wayne Lineker been hacked or is he just being himself? Hard to say.”

Another wrote: “The sad thing is he will be inundated with girls offering themselves.

“This is why I am trying to parent my teenage girl to have high self esteem and be a strong, confident and independent woman. Same for my son too.”

A third tweeted: “Good luck girls."
