Jonathan Rhys Meyers’ fiancée Mara Lane has reportedly given birth to a baby boy.

The couple, who only confirmed their pregnancy a few weeks ago, are thought to have welcomed their first child together just before Christmas.

According to E! News, Meyers and Mara have named their newborn son Wolf.

Mara is thought to have given birth at the couple’s home, with a midwife present.

The couple, who have been dating since 2013, announced that they were expecting a child at the beginning of December on Instagram

Lane told her followers that she was expecting an ‘incoming package’ for Christmas, writing: “#IncomingPackage best present. #ThankYouLord #SantaBelly.”

Lane then shared a number of snaps of her pregnancy wear, captioning one photo: “Our other official prego wego dress.

“Found in #Amsterdam #Noordermarkt for 15 euros yes please. Every other day I dunno as I have other dresses but Baby likes these ones ... is super conscious, connected & aware.

“Has not let me eat much meat entire pregnancy either ... has me thinking about things I'd rather live in ignorance to. #speciesism waat just stap angel alien baby about to rock my world I already know #thankful for my soon to be best teacher and friend (sic).”

Meyers is in recovery for alcohol addiction following a relapse last year, after four years sober.

At the time he apologised to Lane and his fans on Instagram, writing: “Mara and I are thankful for your support and kindness during this time.

“I apologizes [sic] for having a minor relapse and hope that people don't think too badly of me.”
