Kanye West lost all of his early Life of Pablo material when North flushed his phone down the toilet.

The rapper was forced to start his new album from scratch after his daughter wiped his phone at the beginning of the year.

Speaking about the incident on the newly-cancelled Kocktails with Khloe on FYI, Kim Kardashian revealed that her husband had saved all of his album and lyric ideas on his phone.

“Kanye had every single rap in his iPhone before he started really working on Pablo and then North flushed it down the toilet,” she said.

“They could not be retrieved — we sent it to, like, four places. No Apple genius is genius enough.”

Apparently the rapper, who is prone to the occasional Twitter outburst, stayed stoically calm in the face of disaster.

“He didn’t even get mad. I would have at least screamed, cried,” Kardashian added.

After months of indecision, West finally released his seventh studio album on February 14, exclusively on Tidal.

He later backtracked on his decision and made The Life of Pablo available on other streaming services.
