Screen sirens Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel complemented each other in black and white as they signed autographs at the premiere of Total Recall.

The stars walked the monochrome carpet with leading man Colin Farell at the event in Leicester Square last night.

Beckinsale, who plays Farrell’s wife, wore a floor length, black Donna Karan gown, while Biel sported a daring white feathered Giambattista Valli number with neon shoes.

After changing into a looser green dress, Biel, who plays a rebel fighter, admitted that her outfit was far too tight to be comfortable.

Biel said: 'My dress is so tight. Getting up the stairs was a lot harder than any of the stunts we did in the film."

Kate Beckinsale, whose husband Len Wiseman directed the movie, had no trouble walking as she showed off her pins with a thigh high split.

Beckinsale admitted that the work out for the film was gruelling. She told the Mail Online: 'I did a lot of boxing, kick boxing, martial arts parkour.

"I would love to keep up the boxing but I always trail off and get lazy like we all do. I think women's boxing at the Olympics is amazing it's so empowering.'

Colin Farrell who plays Douglas Quaid in a remake of the cult classic which features a factory worker who retrieves hidden memories that show that he is actually a spy on the run from the law.

The original 1990 movie, which featured Arnold Schwarzenegger, became one of the biggest hits of the year.

Total recall is an interpretation of science fiction writer Phillip K Dick’s short story We Can Remember it for you Wholesale.
