Kate Moss looked every inch the supermodel in a sheer jumpsuit as she arrived hand in hand with her husband Jamie Hince to the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty retrospective.

Moss, 41, lead the fashion stakes in a sheer black jumpsuit from Sarah Burton’s pre-Autumn/Winter 2015 collection for McQueen. She teamed the look with black heels for the launch party at the Victoria and Albert Museum on Thursday night.

Her musician husband Hince – who looked smart in a black suit for the occasion - struggled to keep his eyes off of the supermodel.

Kate - whose 3D holographic image moving in a white organza gown is one of the highlights of the exhibition - later changed into a skull printed dress to perform with the Michael Clarke dance troupe.

She was joined at the event by a host of famous faces from the fashion world including her friend and fellow model Naomi Campbell who made a grand entrance in a black feathered skirt with a sheer top.

Poppy Delevingne also opted for a sheer black jumpsuit while Erin O'Connor worked her famous androgynous style in a plunging white gown with silk lapels.

Victoria Beckham posed in a revealing strapless black gown from her own label which she teamed with gothic inspired eye make-up as she posed alongside her husband David.

FKA Twigs stood out among the black sheer ensembles in a dramatic rainbow coloured dress with large winged shoulders from McQueen’s S/S08 collection.

Other stars included McQueen muse Annabelle Neilson who wore a show stopping gown with eye-catching shoulder detailing, Salma Hayek who looked glamorous in a peacock inspired ball gown and Princess Beatrice who went for a black suit style dress.

Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty is the first and largest retrospective of the late designer's work, which houses more than 240 of the brand's garments.
