Kate, Wills and Harry make Vanity Fair's most stylish list

The Duchess of Cambridge and Princes William and Harry are all on Vanity Fair's best-dressed list of 2012.

The trio have been praised for their fashion sense and included in a list of 15 other members of various royal families who have been included for their sartorial elegance.

The magazine says of the Duchess, the magazine says: "The former Kate Middleton is prim, proper, and infuriatingly dazzling, thanks to a year-round tan, bouncing blow-outs, some better version of Bobbi Brown than the rest of us have, and a decidedly un-English smile.

"For big events, the mice and bluebirds put Kate in the best British designers as befits a future queen of England, including Alexander McQueen, Christopher Kane, Burberry, and country staple Barbour."

Also on the list are actress Jessica Chastain, signer Jay-Z and both Colin and Olivia Firth.

Prince William received praise for his more laid back style, with the publication writing: "A sporty fellow with a bent for polo, country life, and [piloting] his R.A.F. rescue chopper through the threatening Irish Sea spray, William is often photographed in activewear - though he can still fill out the Renaissance-era velvet bloomers required of the Order of the Garter ceremonies."

Prince Harry's inclusion came about due to his penchant for linen suits, with Vanity Fair explaining: "Younger brother Harry is the good-time guy to William's comparative reserve--and earned his spot on this year's International Best-Dressed List for his easygoing style, including linen suits, swim trunks, and surfing-ready wet suits."

Other royals who earned a spot on the list include Princess Charlene and Charlotte Casiraghi of Monaco and Prince Carl-Phillipe of Sweden.#Duchess of Cambridge.
