Katie Hopkins made a jibe at Gemma Collins' weight after watching the reality TV star on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here last night.

The 39-year-old took to Twitter to comment on the TOWIE star's weight after she complained of hunger to her camp mates.

Katie - who once said that fat people have no one to blame but themselves - tweeted: "Gemma has found a way of deep frying porridge. Good skills from Big Bird. She's got the Fat Factor #ImACelebrity."

She later added: "All Gemma wants is a ham sandwich with some quavers on the side and a family bucket of KFC. FFS guys, that all. Just a snack. #ImACelebrity."

Viewers were quick to slam her comments with one user comparing her actions to online bullying, tweeting: "does it make you feel good to bring people down? This is called online bullying it's not funny at all."

Another user tweeted: "do you realise your comments can be so damaging to someone who sees their self as over weight? I hope no one s***s ur daughters off."

Gemma had a tough time as she made her way into jungle camp with Craig Charles, Nadia Forde, Craig Fogarty and Vicki Michelle after finding out that they would be the unlucky campers spending a night in the Celebrity Slammer.

Gemma burst in to tears so was unable to fly by helicopter in to camp, pleaded with help to get a bug out of her hair and was scared of finding a "lion" or "comodo dragon".
