Katie Price has spoken about her decision to check into rehab earlier this year crediting her five children with keeping her going.

The former glamour model, 41, will lift the lid on her latest trying chapter in a one-off episode of her reality show, My Crazy Life.

In the trailer, she films herself at The Priory, where she was treated for post-traumatic stress disorder after suffering a break down.

Price then admits: "The only reason I’m still sitting here now is because of my children.”

Speaking to the Sun, she added: “This special is probably the most personal thing I have ever done - the final chapter of a nightmare that is now over and the start of a whole new world and life for me.”

The trailer also sees Price emerge from rehab to find her loved ones self-isolating as the coronavirus pandemic took hold in the UK.

Price sees her mum Amy, who suffers from terminal lung disease, by calling her and speaking on the other side of a glass patio door.

The star is now isolating with her eldest son, 17-year-old Harvey, who is at a high risk of catching coronavirus, while Junior, 14, and Princess, 12, live with her ex-husband Peter Andre.

Jett, six, and Bunny, five, are staying with their father, Kieran Hayler.

She told the paper: "I regularly FaceTime the kids. I can’t wait to see them and to give them a big hug – this has been really hard.

"Kieran and Peter are great dads – I know the children are in safe hands."

Katie Price: My Crazy Life airs on Monday, May 4 at 10pm exclusively on QuestRed and dplay.
