Katie Price ‘livid’ as she slams claims she is using her children to make money with McDonald’s ad

The former glamour model said she has never discussed a deal with the fast food giant

Katie Price has shut down claims she has signed her children up to front a McDonald’s advert.

The former glamour model was left “livid” after it was reported son Junior, 12, and daughter Princess, 10, would rake in a six figure sum as the face of the food chain’s Happy Meals.

But Price denied the reports on Twitter, claiming she has never discussed a deal involving her children.

She tweeted: “Well this is the first I've heard of this about my children so maybe @McDonaldsUK need to get in touch as I'm their mother.

“I have not meet any @McDonaldsUK marketing team to discuss any such deal involving any of my 5 five children ! ....LIVID.”

It was reported that Price and Peter Andre, who is father to Junior and Princess, thought it would be a “perfect opportunity” for their children.

A source told The Sun: “Katie has made no secret that she wants Junior and Princess to follow in her footsteps and become TV stars.

“When McDonald’s approached them, she and Peter thought it would be the perfect opportunity to get their names out there.

“They met the McDonald’s marketing team, who immediately fell in love with the kids, who are already big fans of McDonald’s. The team have been so impressed with them that they decided to make them a six-figure offer to work on the Happy Meal campaigns next year.

“They’ve been given a deal to front two campaigns, and they could do more in the future.”

It comes months after Price was accused of using her children to promote a drinks brand.

She posted a video of Junior and Princess talking about their love for Hey Like Wow drinks alongside a caption telling followers how to purchase the product.

She was branded “wrong on so many levels” and accused of ‘forcing’ her children to make the video.

Price defended herself against critics in a follow up video with Junior, in which she argued that she should be praised for promoting sugar free drinks over fizzy ones.

Last month she came under fire for allowing her four-year-old son Jett, who she has with Kieran Hayler, to play barefoot with a hose outside at night.
