Katy 'pepperoni' Perry causes chaos after Philadelphia concert
Katy Perry was mobbed by a sea of screaming fans after her concert on Tuesday night.
The singer caused chaos after her second of two shows at the Wells Fargo Centre in Philadelphia.
Fans rushed to meet the Teenage Dreams singer after she announced at the end of her set that she would greet them at the top of the Philadelphia Museum of Art steps.
Hundreds of concert goers were eager to get a slice of the 11 time Grammy award winning artist whose penchant for pizza was on full display as she donned a pepperoni onesie.
But unfortunately the 29-year-old left fans disappointed as security guards scrambled to protect her from braying hands and whisked her into a get a way car.
She took to Twitter to reassure fans that despite the very quick appearance she really did climb to the top pf the steps tweeting: "I keep my promises Philly!"
The pizza onesie seems to be a wardrobe staple for the Dark Horse singer who has been pictured wearing the junk food number on numerous occasions.
In her new music video for This is How We Do she is seen wearing a pizza swimming costume while lounging on a sun bed with matching pizza slice earrings.
