Katy Perry is reportedly so serious about her relationship with John Mayer, she has given him a key to her Los Angeles home.

The relationship between the singers has heated up since they recently rekindled their romance following a brief split.

A source told The Sun: "John thinks it is easier to stay in hotels rather than his own L.A. pad [when he visits from New York]. But Katy insists he should stay with her. She thinks it makes sense."

The pair recently took a trip to Las Vegas with friends and joked about getting married in an Elvis chapel but didn't go through with it.

However, they did enjoy a night out at the notorious Spearmint Rhino strip club with friends.

A source said "They were together in a group. As for whether they got dances, they were in a strip club ... you do the math.

"The group had so much fun, they stayed until 5 a.m."

Katy, 27, was thought to have been left heartbroken when John ended their brief fling at the end of August.

A source said at the time: "She is making it seem like it wasn't serious with John, but she is hurt."

John has dated a string of Hollywood beauties, including Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Simpson, Taylor Swift and Cameron Diaz.
