Kendall Jenner was left "terrrified" after she got trapped in an elevator with her sister Kylie Jenner.

The famous reality TV sisters were rescued by the fire brigade after they got stuck at Kendall’s New York apartment – and they made sure to document the drama.

The girls were trapped with friends Hailey Baldwin and Jordyn Woods for 20 minutes when the second door of the elevator failed to open.

In several Snapchats taken by the foursome, Kendall can be seen attempting to press a control panel as Kylie phones for help.

Kendall can be heard saying: “So my worst nightmare just happened.

“We’re actually stuck in an elevator in real life like I never thought this would actually happen. I’m genuinely so terrified and hungry.”

The group can be seen pulling faces as they try to pass the time in the confined space before panicking that they will starve.

In one Snapchat Kylie says to Kendall: “So the only food, we don’t know how long we’re going to be here, but all the f****** food, you ate it all.”

But the ordeal was over in 20 minutes and they marked their rescue by posing for a group photo with the firemen before heading off to New York Fashion Week.

The incident came days after Kendall and Kylie shunned the catwalk in favour of sitting on the FROW for Kanye West's Yeezy Season four show.

Explaining why they didn't walk, Kendall said: "It's really cool to sit and watch. It's like a whole new world," Kendall dished, adding, "It's kind of nice to not feel the pressure of having to walk, and sitting there for a couple hours before."
