Kim Kardashian showed off baby daughter Chicago on Snapchat amid the backlash sparked by husband Kanye West’s comments on slavery .

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star decided not to comment on the furore, but instead shared a video of her and Chicago, who is nearly four-months-old, with a Snapchat filter turning them into bears drinking coffee.

In the second short clip, Kardashian coos over her daughter – who had a daisy filter on – saying: “I mean, are you not the cutest or what?”

The reality personality then moved herself into the frame to match with Chi, who continued looking adorable.

The 37-year-old’s post on Tuesday night came amid controversy surrounding her rapper husband’s comments on slavery.

In an interview with TMC, West said: “When you hear about slavery for 400 years — for 400 years? That sounds like a choice.

“Like, you were there for 400 years and it's all of y'all ... It's like we're mentally in prison.”

His comments were met with much distain, prompting him to later attempt to clarify his comments after being challenged by TMZ’s Van Lathan.

West has been making headlines in recent weeks with a slew of tweets professing his support for President Donald Trump, referring to him as “my bother” and saying they have “dragon energy”.
