Kim Kardashian has recorded the moment a helicopter she was travelling in was forced to make an emergency landing.

Kim, 35, was travelling with husband Kanye West, sister Kourtney Kardashian and best friend Jonathan Cheban in Iceland when the incident happened.

Kim recorded the moment in a Snapchat video which saw her mouth the words “emergency landing” over the noise of the helicopter.

Kourtney added: “Stay calm.”

The pilot performed an emergency landing on a golf course, after which Kim posted a second video to reassure fans that they were all safe.

“We found the problem,” she said. “A seatbelt was hanging out that was making a rattling noise.”

A clearly shaken Cheban can be heard saying: “My heart is back.”

The famous reality TV family are currently in Iceland to celebrate Kourtney’s 37th birthday.

They have kept fans up-to-date with their travels with Kim posting Instagrams of the family standing in fur coats atop a glacier and posing in front of a waterfall.

They have also visited the country’s capital city, Reykjavik.
