Lady Gaga was treated to pre-birthday drinks today – or at least her waxwork was.
The eccentric singer, who is famed for carrying a cup and saucer around with her, turns 26 tomorrow so Madame Tussauds decided to mark the occasion by taking her waxwork to a bar in Covent Garden where drinks are served in her favourite vessel.
Amy Williams, who helped come up with the idea, said: "We thought we’d do something different with her figure to get an exciting celebratory picture and to remind her fans that they can still come and see Lady Gaga’s wax figure at Madame Tussauds.
"We took her to the Foundation Bar because it's a very kooky place, much like the lady herself!"
The life size model wore the outfit her real life counterpart wore during her appearance on the Jonathan Ross show in 2010.
The waxwork cost approximately £150,000, took four months to make and is cast from over 150kg of clay.
