Stormzy stopped his Ibiza gig mid-show to watch England’s World Cup penalty shoot-out.

A video has emerged of the rapper halting the show to watch the critical moment England made history against Colombia.

The crowd can be seen watching in anticipation as Stormzy crouches down on stage as he struggles to contain his stress levels.

He watched as England then proceeded to make history by winning the shoot-out 4-3 and bagging themselves a place in the quarter final.

The Shut Up rapper can be seen jumping into the air in celebration as chants emerge of “England won!”

The show then resumed with an excited Stormzy jumping around the stage for a performance of Big for Your Boots.

Fans were seen pumping fists and belting the words to the song in the midst of confetti cannons and smoke.

Social media users were quick to hail the 24-year-old a “legend” for halting his show to watch the nail-biting match.

One fan wrote: “Mans actually a legend.”

Another posted: “This looks insane!”

A third tweeted: “I'm a fat white guy in my mid-50s and I couldn't tell you a Stormzy song if you hit me with one - butt this is F***** BRILLIANT!!!”

Stormzy joins a host of celebrities who celebrated the win including Reese Witherspoon, Sue Perkins and Ross Kemp who became an instant meme with his passionate Twitter video.
