Lewis Hamilton has made his singing debut on a new Christina Aguilera track, under the pseudonym XNDA.

The F1 champion can be heard on the American singer’s latest release Pipe, which he is also credited on as co-writer.

It was previously reported that the 33-year-old had worked with Jay-Z and Kanye West when trying his hand at the music scene back in 2011.

A source told The Sun: “Lewis has teased hints of his vocals online before but this is the first time his voice has been heard on an official song.”

Speaking about the mysterious collaboration Aguilera told how she had been “dying for everyone to find out” who the singer was as they “are multi-talented”.

She said: “He’s spent years trying to establish his own singing style, but now feels almost ready to launch as an artist.”

Hold My Hand singer Jess Glynne previously opened up to the publication about working with Hamilton on his own music.

The 28-year-old said: “I do know Lewis, he’s cool, he’s so lovely. We talk every now and then and he’s a really cool guy. I have been in the studio doing some music with him actually.

“He loves music and he’s a really talented guy in all walks of life. I know he’s really into doing his own thing musically though.

“And I know when he does release stuff you’ll be in for a treat. I performed at one of the Formula 1 gigs and that’s how we became friends.”

Aguilera recently released Liberation, her first album in six-years.

The six-time Grammy award winning artist dropped her last album, Lotus, in 2012.

She told how she is scared to tour Liberation because she is a mother to son Max, 10, and daughter Summer, three, but said she is excited to get back onto the music scene.
