Liam Gallagher has compared Noel Gallagher to Ronnie Corbett after slamming his brother for allegedly refusing to do press for the upcoming Oasis documentary.

Liam, 44, branded the High Flying Birds frontman a “s*** bag” on Twitter.

Liam called out Noel for allegedly refusing to promote Supersonic or attend the premieres.

He tweeted: “So the Ronnie Corbett of rock n roll aka Noel Gallagher not doing press not attending premiere for oasis film 2 words S*** BAG LG x.”

It is the latest in a long line of tweets berating Noel – who he has previously branded a “potato”.

The former Beady Eye frontman has been slinging vegetable based insults at Noel since May after he took aim at a comment made by the producer of Noel’s new album, David Holmes, who described the singer’s music as “fun”.

Liam recently addressed the tweets and said he will only stop if Twitter is shut down.

Speaking to Q he said: "Oh, I know. I know. Lots of people say I need to chill out about Noel. Not until they stop Twitter. That c*** will always get it from me."

He continued: "I’ve heard they really annoy him. Someone told me the other week that the only thing that does his nut in are my tweets. Good. They will carry on and they will get bigger and better."
