Some might say Liam Gallagher has the best fans in the world after a wheelchair user was lifted up above the crowd to see the former Oasis frontman perform Wonderwall.

Michael Reynolds, who has been wheelchair bound for five years, was hoisted into the air by friends and 20 strangers at Gallagher’s sold out gig at Manchester’s Old Trafford Cricket Ground.

The As You Were singer praised the “biblical behaviour” as he tweeted his “respect” to those who helped create the heart-warming moment.

He posted: “Respect to the lads at my concert for giving Michael Reynolds the best view in the house BIBLICAL BEHAVIOUR as you were LG x.”

Mr Reynolds, 30, swerved the designated disabled area to watch the gig with his friends in the standing section, who rallied around to help him see over the crowd when Gallagher performed Wonderwall.

The touching moment was captured on camera by one gig goer who tweeted it out alongside the caption: “This man got to enjoy @liamgallagher last night the way everyone should. God bless those that helped.”

Mr Reynolds described the moment as “unbelievable,” saying he “couldn’t fault the crowd”.

Speaking to Manchester Evening News he said: “Obviously, there was the disabled area, but there were 15 of us and I am the only one in a wheelchair.

“But I couldn’t see, I ended up just listening to it.

“My mates had the idea of lifting me up. Suddenly, there were 20 lads all helping. Everyone was loving it.”
