Liam Gallagher has slated his brother Noel for showing his “true colours” by not performing at the One Love Manchester concert.

Liam, 44, apologised to fans for Noel’s no show as he launched into a scathing attack on Twitter.

Liam called his brother a “sad f***” and criticised him for not flying back to the UK to perform.

He tweeted: “What an amazing night last night pure love vibrations nobody comes close to Manchester love forever LG x.

“Oh and if anybody's seen rkid tell him he can come out now as you were LG x.

“Manchester I’d like to apologise for my brothers absence last night very disappointed stay beautiful stay safe LG x.

“Noels out of the f****** country weren't we all love get on a f****** plane and play your tunes for the kids you sad f***.”

There were rumours that the brothers - who hail from Manchester - would reunite Oasis for the concert which was organised by Ariana Grande to raise money for the victims and families affected by the terror attack at her Manchester MEN Arena gig on May 22.

In response to a fan who joked that Liam's outburst spells the end of any hope for a reunion, he replied: “F*** the reunion mate it ain't about Oasis it's about people helping other people and he's once again shown his true f****** colours.”

Liam jetted in from his gig in Germany to surprise fans at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday night.

He opened his surprise set with Rock 'N' Roll Star before performing his debut solo single Wall of Glass and closing with Live Forever, which saw him team up with Coldplay's Chris Martin.

Niall Horan, Miley Cyrus, Little Mix, Pharrell, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Take That and Robbie Williams also performed.

Some £10 million has been raised for the We Love Manchester Emergency fund, with the concert raising £2 million.
