Lil Wayne is currently in a ‘stable’ condition after suffering a seizure on board a private plane.

The rapper’s aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing on Monday so that he could be rushed to hospital for emergency treatment.

Flying from Milwaukee to California at the time, the plane was forced to land in Omaha, Nebraska.

The star’s spokesman Derek Sherron has told TMZ: “As Wayne's reps we can confirm that he did experience a minor seizure earlier this afternoon.

The seizure is thought to be connected to the rapper’s epilepsy, which he revealed he was suffering from back in 2012.

The star had a similar incident that year when his plan was forced to make an emergency landing in Texas.

He told radio station Power 106: “I’m prone to seizures. I’ve had a bunch of them, but y’all never get to hear about them.

“It got real bad this time, because I had three in a row and my heartbeat went down to, like, 30%. The reason is plain stress – no rest, overworking myself.”
