Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst uploads photo to reassure public he is not Robert Durst
Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst has been forced to verify that he is not US murder suspect Robert Durst.
The 44-year-old musician was mistaken for the real estate heir and subject of HBO’s series The Jinx by The Associated Press who released a statement claiming that an arrest warrant had been issued for Fred.
"An arrest warrant was issued for the former Limp Bizkit frontman and he was rebooked in the Orleans Parish Jail on Monday under two new charges," the statement read.
To ensure that people did not continue to mistake him, the Limp Bizkit singer took to Instagram to upload a picture of himself wearing a grey hoodie emblazoned with the words “Not Robert” on the front. He captioned the post: "I am NOT ROBERT."

The news agency were forced to issue a correction, reading: “In the second item of the California 10th NewsMinute sent March 16 to users of the state broadcast wire, The Associated Press reported erroneously that Robert Durst is a member of a band. He is a real estate heir; Fred Durst is the former frontman of Limp Bizkit.”
