Lisa has emerged victorious in Big Brother's Waiting Game task, winning herself immunity from this week's evictions

The Mancunian won a tense stand-off with Grace, who had guessed the prize for remaining the longest on a podium would be nominations-based.

The dance teacher is in troubled mood followed the Friday night crowds' shouts of "get Grace out" and so, after almost 10 hours of standing still, the contest was decided by everyone's favourite elimination method - drawing straws.

And it was Grace who drew the short one, after her attempts to persuade the other housemates to let her win the task were curbed by Lisa's staying power.

She reluctantly stepped down and was soon in the bathroom crying and complaining.

"You don't need to be like this, you don't know you're going," Mikey consoled her.

Glyn remained standing for nine hours before caving in to Grace's pleas to "get down", with Mikey following shortly afterwards.

Nikki, however, had lasted just 11 minutes into the challenge, but then surrendered, shrieking: "I quit. I can't take it any more, I have wind chill in my ear."

She was swiftly followed by a grumpy Lea, and then Richard and Pete, all within forty minutes of their task starting.

After clocking up over six-and-a-half hours atop her podium, Imogen finally decided enough was enough, screaming: "I quit! Big Brother I quit!"

"I'm f****** bored s*******. I can't do it anymore. I can stand up for hours but I can't be bothered with this. That's my reason."

Although she does not yet know it, Golden Girl Susie will be the only person to choose who is up for the boot from the Channel 4 house.

The newcomer, from West Malling, Kent, replaced evicted transvestite Sam and has been told she must follow the Golden Rules.

The surgically-enhanced model has her own private Golden Quarters, sleeps in a Golden Bedroom, use the Golden Toilet, takes a Golden Shower every day and wears gold at all times.

Her power caused Grace's gut feeling of a forthcoming nomination to bother her again, but this time she may not be so wrong.

Susie told Big Brother that, while she's enjoyed talking to Lea and Richard, she's found the dance teacher to be "very guarded".

She said ladette Lisa hadn't sworn around her, and "my perception of her has changed". Glyn, she says, is a "super young man" and that if she had to sum up her experience so far she would say she was absolutely elated, and "chuffed to bits".

Richard pronounced himself delighted with Susie, but although he really likes her it's not in a way in which he'd "convert back to being a heterosexual".

But the 33-year-old waiter has come in for some stick himself in the super-bitchy house, Mikey labelling him an "a*** licker", while his love of cereal has incurred Nikki's wrath when she discovers he has eaten the last of the cornflakes.

Last night the new girl split the camp by holding a champagne dinner party with all the trimmings for a select few housemates, while the others looked on and nibbled on basic rations.

Susie chose Lea, Glyn, Richard and Aisleyne to join her for the slap-up feast but left the others speculating about their fate.
