Little Mix turned up the heat for the Bank Holiday weekend as they released the video for their new single Holiday.

Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Jesy Nelson posed in a selection of bikinis, while Perrie Edwards rocked an all-white ensemble.

The video, which has a beachside mermaid theme, was filmed last month, with the band and crew having to abide by strict social-distancing measures.

Speaking on the Capital Evening Show, Edwards explained: “I mean, it was a very bizarre experience. It was like, everybody had to fill out forms, everybody had to wear masks and visors who were on set, there was only a certain number of people on set.

“We had to get our temperature taken. We had to stay far away from each other, and they are going to somehow super-impose it.

“So we were together, but we were distanced, so it’s so clever how they’ve done it, and we saw an edit yesterday and we gagged. It’s insane.”

Jesy Nelson shared a sneak peak of her performance

The video was released at 10am this morning, with Nelson sharing a behind-the-scenes snap of the sexy shoot on her Instagram page.

“I currently look nothing like this at the moment just so you all know,” she told her 6.9 million followers.

“I'm a stone heavier since making this video from eating whatever the f**k I've wanted and living my best life but for any of you struggling mentally with how you feel about yourselves right now just know I'm there with ya with my podgy belly and chubby cheeks.

She added: “Remember we're all human and we all have our good days and bad days and days when we feel banging and other days when we feel absolutely rotten and that's ok.

Perrie said the band 'gagged' when they saw how they perfected the final edit

“You're all beautiful in your own unique ways and there is no one in the world like you and that is what makes us special.”

Nelson also explained how difficult it has been not seeing the rest of the band throughout the lockdown period.

Speaking on This Morning, she said: “It’s horrible. We’re like family now, so to not be with them for this long has been horrible.”
