Things got a little awkward at Capital FM when Little Mix's Leigh-Anne Pinnock stormed out of an interview with DJ Roman Kemp.

The pop star seemed to take major offense when the host asked her a question about ex-boyfriends during an interview on Monday morning, prompting her to leave the room.

Everything was going so well until Kemp started talking about their new single Shout Out To My Ex, asking if they stayed in touch with their former loves.

He asked: “If you write a song like this do you have to speak to all exes? Clear that song with them?"

After a long silence, Leigh-Anne leaned over to whisper to Perrie Edwards and then told Kemp that his question was ‘inappropriate’.

“It just gets on my nerves when people ask things like that. We're not here to talk about exes,” she said.

"I know the song is called that, but talk about how it's a positive thing. Do you know what I mean?”

Pinnock then dramatically got up and left the room leaving the remaining girls to carry on the interview without her.

Thankfully for all involved, the argument was just one big prank, with Kemp breathing a sigh of relief as Pinncok re-entered the room laughing.

The Little Mix girls are no strangers to the odd prank, and pulled a similar one last year on Australian radio.

When asked about the chart battle between One Direction and Little Mix, Jade Thirlwall left the interview, saying: “To be honest I'm sick of talking about it, to be fair.”
