Loose Women panellist Andrea McLean was forced to apologise after Katie Price’s son accidentally swore on live TV.

McLean, 46, apologised to viewers after Harvey, 13, dropped the C-bomb during his appearance on ITV’s daytime show.

Harvey made the comment during a discussion on the difficulties Price faces when dealing with the online abuse that is targeted at her eldest son.

Price asked him: “If someone says something horrible to Harvey, what does Harvey say?”

To which he replied: “Hello you c****.”

A panicked McLean told viewers: “OK, we apologise, we apologise for that, but this is one of the reasons why we wanted to do this live.”

Price had said she wanted to bring Harvey on live over a pre-recorded segment so that people can see what he is like 'unedited'.

The former glamour model launched a campaign to target online trolls after she posted the names and images of those she claimed were making inappropriate comments about her son.

Piers Morgan – who was on Tuesday’s show to discuss his new TV show – slammed those who have posted nasty comments about Harvey.

"You spend time with Harvey and he's a lovely chap," Morgan said. "My admiration for Katie is enormous for the way she takes care of him. I don't find it funny to mock Harvey. He's a courageous man with a great sense of humour and I think his mum does a brilliant job with this boy.

"Show a bit of humanity. I see a lot of people troll me. I'm big enough and ugly enough to look after myself. Same with Katie. But when it comes to Harvey, he can't get on Twitter and respond to these clowns. Have a go at me or Katie, we can take care of ourselves. Don't go after this boy or people like him who are defenceless and can't defend themselves."

Viewers also defended the young teen with one tweeting: “Love Harvey, he is a credit to you and it’s a shame that these evil people have nothing better to do.”

Another posted: “I think Harvey is amazing, the people who bully him are disgusting. Harvey you rock.”
