Presenter Joel Dommett and model Hannah Cooper have tied the knot – with Love Island voiceover man Iain Stirling officiating the ceremony.

Dommett, 33, and Cooper married on the Greek island of Mykonos.

In photographs posted on Instagram, Stirling can be seen conducting the beachside ceremony and in the caption, Dommett joked it made him feel like he was on the ITV2 show.

He wrote: "Huge thank you to [Iain Stirling] for officiating the ceremony. You made it perfect. And a little like I was on Love Island."

The couple first met after Cooper sent the comedian a cat emoji with heart eyes on Instagram.

Dommett proposed to her on the final page of his book: It's Not Me, It's Them: Confessions of a Hopeless Modern Romantic.

Speaking about their relationship on Loose Women, Dommett said of how they met: "That is the modern equivalent of the old phrase, ‘You had me at hello', now it's, ‘You had me at cat emoji'.

"It's so wonderful, we are so happy. She's very beautiful, I'm a very lucky lad.”

In a jokey message about their wedding, Cooper said: “Thank you for being the most perfect combination of funny, serious and compassionate... to both [Dommett] and [Stirling] that is. (possibly the only photo of me not crying my eyes out).”

Celebrity friends flocked to post messages of congratulations to the newlywed couple.

Emily Atack, Dommett's co-host on ITV dating show Singletown, said: "Oh my lovely people. What a wonderful sight. Love you both."

Comedian Keith Lemon said: "Massive congrats!" while Emma Willis wrote: "Congrats dude!!"
