Madonna reached out to Graham Norton for a helping hand at her London O2 arena gig.

The singer, 57, returned to the venue where she famously fell to the floor during her BRIT Awards performance - and this time successfully managed to disengage from her cape without injury.

The Queen of Pop was performing her first UK show of her Rebel Heart world tour on Tuesday night when she was joined by Norton.

Dressed in a glittery playsuit, Madonna wrapped herself around the chat show host and crawled through his legs during Unapologetic B***h, before requesting the help of Norton and her backing dancers to get her back on her feet.

Madonna allowed super fan Norton to steal the limelight as he danced and sang along before she gifted him a banana.

The singer stormed through a string of hits and told fans: "It's so good to be back. Right back here where I belong."

But she joked that her racy routines were tiring, telling the audience: "It's so nice to sit down for a wee moment. You don't mind do you? Oh my goodness. Even I have to admit that I outdo myself."

Thankfully she came out unscathed as dancers pulled off her pink cape during her performance of Living For Love.

In February she revealed she suffered from "whiplash" after a "nightmare" fall saw her tumble backwards down a set of stairs on stage when a dancer failed to pull off her cape.

Madonna is halfway through the Europe leg of her Rebel Heart Tour which has seen her perform in North America.
