Nicole Scherzinger is the latest famous face to duet with Gary Barlow on his Crooner Sessions live stream on Instagram.

The Take That star, 49, has teamed up with a number of his celebrity pals to perform on social media to lift fans’ spirits.

Pussycat Dolls singer Scherzinger, 41, joined Barlow for a spectacular performance of You’re The One That I Want, the finale track from Grease.

Half way through the performance, Scherzinger channelled Olivia Newton John’s Sandy by donning a curly blonde wig along with an all-black outfit consisting of a leather jacket, black top and leather trousers, as memorably worn by the character in the film’s final moments.

Meanwhile Barlow changed into a white t-shirt and sunglasses in a nod to John Travolta’s Danny.

Sharing a video of the duet on Instagram, Barlow wrote: “Who’s ready ????? Out of ya seats.

“Omg I love this - thank you so much @nicolescherzinger for going over and above the call of duty - great fun making this clip. Nicole thank you for being a fantastic sport. Miss ya ❤️ #thecroonersessions.”

“Thanks Gaza @officialgarybarlow for having me on #TheCroonerSessions it was so much fun LITERALLY getting in to character with you. I hope this will get ya’lls week off to a good start by putting a smile on your faces.”

The pair first met when they appeared as judges on The X Factor in 2012 and 2013.

Barlow has so far been joined on the Crooner Sessions by singers including Alesha Dixon, Niall Horan, Olly Murs and Alfie Boe.

He also reunited with former Take That bandmate Robbie Williams to perform their 2010 duet Shame.
