Festival No.6 2016 line-up: Noel Gallagher, Bastille and Hot Chip confirmed to headline

Noel Gallagher has been announced as a headliner for this year’s Festival No.6.

The former Oasis star will close the Portmeirion festival on the Sunday with his High Flying Birds.

Bastille have also been confirmed to headline, filling the Friday night slot, while Hot Chip will take to the stage on the Saturday night.

Other acts set to perform include Django Django, Roots Manuva, Echo and the Bunnymen and Aurora.

A line-up of DJs includes Craig Charles , Fleetmac Wood, Joy Orbison, Kate Simko & The London Electronic Orchestra.

Festival founder Gareth Cooper said: “This is year five and it just keeps getting better and better.

“We’re extremely excited about this year’s festival - our first wave of artists and DJ’s is better than ever and there are plenty more surprises up our sleeves.”

Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will play a number of festivals this summer in the UK and abroad.

The festival will run from September 1 to 4 across various venues.
