Noel Gallagher's daughter Anais has called out her mother Meg Matthews for posing on a £120 towel in front of a Unicef aid appeal.

Matthews posted an Instagram of herself receiving a massage on the expensive Missoni item – but was criticised by her daughter.

In the background was a Unicef appeal calling on people to donate £3 to buy a blanket for a person in need.

Unaware of the appeal, Matthews captioned the shot: “Finished at last packing presents. Physio, homing dogs, and now coco the best massage #missioni towels .... spot Oscar sleeps between my legs for the whole time .....”

Commenting on the picture Anais wrote: “The irony of the ad behind…”

Matthews encouraged people to donate money after being called out by her daughter.

"Hope everyone is texting blanket to give £3 as its got lots of attention," she wrote.

Matthews had daughter Anais with then husband Noel on January 27, 2000. They divorced in 2001.

The Oasis frontman is currently married to Sara MacDonald and they have two sons together Sonny, five, and Donovan, eight.
