Louis Tomlinson says he is "very sad" that One Direction's new single for Comic Relief has been leaked online.

The group released a 30-second teaser of One Way or Another - a cover of the Blondie classic which is being released in aid of Comic Relief - yesterday and it was quickly followed by a full version of the track appearing online, and the singer is worried it could now effect sales for the charity record.

He tweeted: "I hear the charity single has been leaked. Very sad to see. Don't forget together we are trying to raise money for comic relief.

"Please get behind an incredible charity and make a real difference. You can pre order now from iTunes for the official track. Thank you (sic)"

And Louis - who is joined in the band by Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik - isn't the only one upset by the leak, with many of the group's fans also outraged.

One fan tweeted: "Do not illegally download One Way or Another! It's a CHARITY single, make sure your money goes to a good cause, not someone's back pocket! (sic)"

Another fumed: "I'M PRETTY SURE YOU ARE ALL GOING TO HELL. (sic)"
