One Direction's Louis Tomlinson confirms baby news: 'It's a very exciting time'
One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson has today confirmed that he is set to become a father.
Tomlinson, 23 – who has remained silent since the news broke – confirmed his impending fatherhood during an interview on Good Morning America.
Presenter Michael Strahan asked: "Louis, from one father to another I want to congratulate you on your upcoming fatherhood. So how are you feeling?".
He replied: "Thank you. Obviously it's a very exciting time, so I'm buzzing."
Tomlinson is expecting his first child with Los Angeles based stylist Briana Jungwirth.

The confirmation comes days after his band mate Liam Payne revealed his shock at hearing Tomlinson's baby news.

Speaking to Free Radio he said: "Obviously it was a bit of a shock to start off with, but he's cool with it now, and I'm sure he's going to be a great dad. I've actually learnt a lot off Louis about being around kids and stuff, because he's really cool.
"Obviously we meet a lot of kids and stuff that come to watch the show, but he is literally the best, he's gonna be great."
The four piece performed Steal My Girl, Story Of My Life and their new single Drag Me Down to fans who had camped out in Central Park since Sunday for the GMA Summer concert.
