The family of Pippa Middleton's boyfriend Alex Loudon do not approve of her party-girl lifestyle.

The former cricketer's parents are said to be concerned about the couple's relationship because they are less than impressed with the 28-year-old brunette - the younger sister of Duchess Catherine - and her fondness for going out.

A source told Now: "They don't think Pippa's right for him as she parties too much."

Pippa and Alex rekindled their relationship earlier this month after splitting up eight months ago when the 32-year-old lawyer reportedly struggled to deal with her newfound fame following Catherine's marriage to Prince William last April.

Pippa - who was maid of honour at her sister and William's nuptials - is thought to have spent the night at Alex's house late last month.

A source previously said: "She has been miserable without him and has been putting on a brave face since they split. It was never her call to end it.

"She's had a tough time lately and it's great to see she's back spending time with someone she trusts implicitly and with whom she has such a close bond.

"Many thought they were made for each other and he was the love of her life."
