Pop sensation Rita Ora looked chic as she returned to London today after a whistle-stop tour of New York Fashion Week, but a waiting photographer failed to keep his cool.

As Ora emerged from Heathrow a lurking paparazzi eager for a photograph managed to get his feet tangled, landing on the floor in front of her.

There were no bad feelings as the pair laughed it off, with the singer offering her hand to help the flustered pap back on his feet.

Earlier in the week Rita was seen taking notes at the DKNY fashion show at Manhattan's 23 Wall Street venue, brushing shoulders with the likes of Katie Holmes and Hugh Jackman on the front row.

Her research seemed to pay off as she appeared from the transatlantic flight looking every inch the style icon in a new Stella McCartney coat.
