Rita Ora has handed over the keys to her £1.3 million mansion to her parents as she doesn't have the 'time' to enjoy it.

The new X-Factor judge, who spends much of her time on the road, has revealed that her parents - Vera and Besnik - will now be moving in to her north London pad.

Speaking on Free Radio, the 24-year-old said: "I think I've ended up giving the house to my parents, actually. They need it more than me. I'm never really in one place."

Despite purchasing the pricey property back in 2013, the singer admits that she's now back at the bottom of the property ladder.

She added: "I'm back to square one but at least my parents have a place."

Ora has admitted that her parents were actually more involved in the purchase of the six-bedroom house than she was at the time.

Back in 2013, she said: "I bought my first house the other week and I haven't even seen it. I just trusted my mum and dad's opinion."

Ora, who will soon be starting in her new role on the X Factor panel, recently opened up about the breakdown of her relationship to ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris.

She told Marie Claire: "There was a reason why I split up with him. And there was a reason why I'm at this point in my life where I feel like I have so much musical freedom, and I don't have to explain myself to anybody.

"I'm afraid of being alone… I'm not afraid to admit that, you know. I'm not embarrassed to admit that. I just hope it's not a never-ending cycle. Sometimes love just makes you feel crazy."
