Rita Ora claims she has “finally figured herself out as a person” — as she confirmed she has completed her second album.

The singer said she had got in touch with her vulnerable side when making the record, which is due for release in November and comes five years after her chart-topping debut Ora.

It was delayed after a dispute with her former record label Roc Nation and her break-up with Calvin Harris, with whom she recorded material that was reportedly canned.

The lyrics on her new record reference personal stories, but Ora said she would never identify the people she sings about.

“Kate Moss told me something amazing — never complain, never explain,” she said. “She’s a legend. That’s great advice. I want my lyrics to be open to interpretation.

"I’m always looking for love. But I’m definitely distracted by about 150 different things. People forget that I’m still a 26-year-old girl, so I just sing about what I aspire to have.

“I finally feel like I’ve figured myself out as a person. I feel content on stage, and have a solid group of amazing fans that are really supportive.

“So we wrote about stuff like that — a new start, a new page, love and how good that feels and having the chance to really start again. I learned about getting in tune with my vulnerable side, and that it’s OK.”

The star, who has pursued TV and film projects in the US, returned home to the capital to write the album. She said: “Basically, being back in London, one: made me remember my accent; and two: it made my energy right — I got my sass back.”
