Riz Ahmed compared James Corden to Star Wars villain Jabba the Hutt in an epic rap battle.

The British actor, 34, poked fun at the chat show host’s weight as the pair battled it out on The Late Late Show skit.

The pair stepped into the ring in silk robes before taking over the mics and slinging insults at one another.

Corden, 38, kicked off the battle by claiming Ahmed’s “lyrics lack depth just like when he acts”, before the actor said Corden was “like Sean Spicer mixed with a singing Uber driver”.

He went on to accuse Corden of stealing Graham Norton’s act and copying Ellen DeGeneres.

But things went up a notch when Corden referenced Star Wars spin-off Rogue One, saying: “Here’s a Rogue One spoiler – he’s awful.”

Ahmed hit back with some jibes about Corden’s weight saying he gets “mad excited” about the mention of ham, before adding: “I did do Star Wars, I bet that made you mad, too bad they weren’t trying to cast Jabba the Hutt’s dad.”

He later added: “You look like Matt Damon if he only ate butter.”

Corden hit back by calling him the “world’s worst version of Will Smith”, before taking aim at Ahmed’s sex scene in Girls, saying: “You didn’t have to get naked to show us you’re an a***.”

Ahmed dropped the final insult by finishing: “I saw you at Coachella you were the big white tent, right?”

The actor was crowned the winner after getting the biggest applause from the audience.
