Ronnie Wood was a "rotten b*****d" to his ex-wife Jo, she claims in a revealing interview.

The 57-year-old former model was married to the Rolling Stones guitarist for 24 years, and while she admits she will "always love" the 65-year-old rocker, Jo often reflects on the bad times between the pair.

She said: "I'll always love my ex-husband, but when I look back on stuff, I do think, 'Ooh, what a rotten b*****d he was."

Jo is currently penning a revealing autobiography in which she plans to divulge the truth on the former couple's marriage - which saw her accompany Ronnie on tour with the band and stand by him during numerous spells in rehab for alcohol addiction - and she is concerned he won't speak to her when the book is published.

She explained: "I don't know if he'll ever speak to me again. Oh, he'll be fine. It's the truth. It's not a lie. Maybe he'll realise how well I dealt with him.

"I worry people are going to think, 'What the hell was she doing staying with him? Why the hell didn't she just go?' But I had my family, I had my kids and I always have adored Ronnie."

The couple's divorce was finally concluded last year - despite the pair splitting in 2008, when Ronnie ran off with 18-year-old cocktail waitress Ekaterina Ivanova - and Jo admits she broke down in tears when she had to leave their final marital home.

She said: "I loved that house so much. It was like being a princess in a castle, and I was really sad to go. I knew that I couldn't stay there on my own - it cost so much to run - but it was heartbreaking. I cried my eyes out when I left."

Jo - who has two children with Ronnie, Leah, 33, and 28-year-old Tyrone - insists her love life is very quiet at the moment because she can't find a boyfriend due to all the men looking for younger models.

She added to Style magazine: "I don't have one. I don't get any dates. I mean, I did have one date the other day. All the guys want young girls. Maybe it's not my right time."
