Samantha Barks leads the style pack at Blue Marine Foundation dinner after news she'll star as Amelie in stage show
Samantha Barks stole the limelight at the Creme de la Mer x Blue Marine dinner, just days after her new leading role was revelaed.
The 24-year-old, who rose to fame on the BBC's I'd Do Anything, wore a print minidress with white sheer panelling as she joined a host of stylish stars at the Arts Club on Tuesday night.
Spotted mingling with party-goers including Jade Parfitt, Angela Scanlon, Chelsea Leyland and Clean Bandit's Milan Smith at the reception, the actress later sat down for dinner in the Mayfair members' club.
Clearly a supporter of the foundation, Barks listened while the president discussed their progress in their fight to protect the oceans.

Although she's yet to confirm it herself, Barks is being lined up to take the lead role in the eagerly-anticipated stage adaptation of Amelie.
The new production, co-starring Adam Chanler-Berat, will start off in Berkley, California, before hopefully moving to Broadway at some point in the future.
Having starred in shows including Chicago, Cabaret and most famously, Les Miserables, Barks is being touted as the next big Broadway star.
The actress will also be promoting three films which are slated for release this year, including Harvest, A Hundred Streets and Caesar.
