Selasi Gbormittah celebrated the final episode of The Great British Bake Off by having a huge pizza party at his flat.

The much-love contestant, who missed out on a place in the final, said goodbye to the baking show in style, by inviting 50 people over to his place and ordering takeaway.

As Candice, Jane and Andrew battled it out to be crowned winner of the last BBC series, the 30-year-old banker ordered pizza and champagne for all his friends.

Selasi has become known for his GBBO viewing parties, in which he usually cooks for all his pals and some of the contestants at his London flat.

But he had too many people to cater for on Wednesday, posting on Instagram: “Leaning tower? 45-50 guests means no cooking ! #Pizza and #Booze #GBBOfinal #Partay.”

He also posted a picture of bottles of champagne and confetti, writing: “Tip of the iceberg!ready! Let's the just we have a surprise for you!

Selasi has formed a friendship with this year’s other fan favourite, Val Stones, who won over viewers with her heartfelt exit speech.
