Celebrities including some of the biggest names in the world of fashion and art were out in force for this year’s exclusive Serpentine Summer Party.

Alexa Chung, Ellie Goulding, Suki Waterhouse and British Vogue editor Edward Enninful were among those on the guest list for the glamorous west London event.

The annual celebrity soirée, for which an exclusive ticket costs just under £500, was hosted by Chanel in the grassy grounds of Kensington Gardens on Tuesday.

Waterhouse stunned revellers in a stylish, retro-style blazer, matching mini skirt and silver-tone Chanel minaudière as she was pictured arriving for the extravaganza.

Chung opted for a black crochet dress which she teamed with a clutch, while Goulding stepped out in a fitted white dress and towering silver strappy heels.

The event, known as one of the highlights of the capital’s arts calendar, also attracted some big names in the acting world including Game of Thrones’ Natalie Dormer.

The television star wore a seasonal white jumpsuit with her hair up in a quiff-style ponytail to the event, which takes place every year around the park’s stunning pavilion.

Previous hosts of the hotly-anticipated fundraiser included Tommy Hilfiger, Christopher Kane and Brioni.

Last year’s addition saw the likes of Claudia Schiffer, Sam Rollinson, Rita Ora Princess Eugenie, Eva Herzigova and Brooklyn Beckham attend.

Describing the event, organisers said: “Hosted by Chanel and Karl Lagerfield and set in the grassed grounds of the Serpentine art gallery in London’s Kensington Gardens, this spectacular annual celeb-fest has attracted a line-up of art lovers, hotel magnates and aristocrats."
