Simon Cowell proved he’s got the X Factor as he was flanked by hoards of bikini-clad women while holidaying in Barbados.

Cowell, 56, is enjoying a break on the Caribbean island with his girlfriend Lauren Silverman and his son Eric.

But his attention was stolen by adoring fans who swarmed the music mogul for a beach selfie.

Cowell looked happy to oblige as he puffed out his chest and posed for a picture with one female fan who went on to grab a series of shots as he emerged from the water following a jet ski ride.

The show saw Louisa Johnson beat Reggie and Bollie to be crowned the 2015 champion.

The Sun reported that Cowell regrets choosing Bob Dylan’s Forever Young as the winner’s single after it became the lowest chart entry in the show’s 11-year history, reaching number nine.

A source told the publication: "It’s an embarrassing result for Syco. Even though Louisa had two fewer days of sales, they expected the single to fare much better.

"On reflection, they feel picking a more up-tempo, anthemic song would have been a better idea. But they are fully behind Louisa and insist the poor chart position was down to the song, not the performer."
