Simon Cowell is scheming to have Gary Barlow’s candidate booted off X Factor, sources say.
The music mogul is said to be unimpressed with Christopher Maloney and has been encouraging other judges to vote him off the show.
A source told the Daily Mirror: "He wants Chris out and the fact that his mentor is Gary makes him even more desperate to get him kicked off."
The Liverpudlian singer, who is believed to have topped the voting list in the first two weeks of the competition, has also annoyed other contestants by behaving like a “diva”.
Ousted star Charlie from group MK1 said: "If there's not a drink around, or he doesn't get his food on time or go home in the right taxi then it's a bit of a nightmare."
