Snoop Dogg struggled to win back his audience after he was outshone by an interpreter.

Fans of the US rapper couldn’t take their eyes off of Holly Maniatty, who was signing to Snoop’s 2002 hit P.I.M.P at a recent concert in New Orleans.

A video, which shows Maniatty signing and mouthing the lyrics on a smaller makeshift stage, has racked up 17 million views since it was first shared on Facebook.

Thousands of people praised Maniatty, with others saying they had been left “mesmerized” by her performance.

One Facebook user said they had been inspired, commenting: “Snoop dog Sign Language interpreter is my new dream job!”

A third wrote: “This is just absolutely fabulous. Everytime I think I'm about to give up on humans, something great and fantastic like this happens. I can't stop smiling!”

A woman claiming to be Maniatty’s cousin commented: “[She] puts her all into studying each artist, not just the lyrics but the body language and gestures. It's all or nothing; go big or go home! So proud of her.”

According to People, Maniatty once revealed that it takes her between 50-80 hours of studying before a hip-hop performance.

It is not the first time a clip of Maniatty has gone viral. She became an Internet hit when a video surfaced of her signing a Public Enemy concert in 2015, and Jimmy Kimmel showed a clip of her signing at a Wu-Tang Clan show at Bonnaroo in 2013.

She even caught the attention of Bruce Springsteen who jumped down to dance alongside her at a concert in 2012.
