Stacey Dash has followed up her awkward Oscars appearance by reading out mean tweets about herself.

In her own version of Jimmy Kimmel’s skit, the Clueless actress has created a video of herself reading feedback from the public after she took to the stage on Sunday night.

The clip shows her coming off stage after her appearance, saying: “Just walked off stage from the Oscars where I got no applause, no boos, nothing.

“People were, I think awestruck. Which was a little disappointing. But I did it because I wanted to. I stand in my position, and Chris asked me to do it and I love him and I support him.

“And I also think I should be the head of diversity at the Oscars. I think I’m the perfect person to do that.”

She then proceeded to read out tweets, including: “I was hoping there was a trap door on stage and @REALStaceyDash would fall through.”

Another read: “@REALStaceyDash you sucked on the Oscars like you do on @foxnews.”

The Oscars audience and TV viewers alike seems confused after the Fox News talking head, who has been vocal about wanting to ban Black History Month, was introduced as the head of the Academy’s ‘minority outreach program’.

She then said the words ‘Black History Month’ before walking off stage, leaving the audience in a stunned silence.
