Stacey Dooley CONFIRMS Kevin Clifton romance after her ex branded Strictly star an ‘absolute rat’

Stacey Dooley has confirmed her relationship with Kevin Clifton, days after her ex-boyfriend branded the professional dancer an “absolute rat”.

Dooley was dating personal trainer Sam Tucknott when she was partnered with Clifton on last year’s Strictly Come Dancing. He accused Clifton of wrecking their five year relationship after they started dating following their win.

On Friday morning Dooley posted a picture of herself and Clifton with their arms around one another after they were reunited at his Burn the Floor show.

The pair, who were matching in black, couldn’t stop smiling in the Instagram snap which was also shared by Clifton on his account.

Dooley recently broke her silence on claims she cheated on Tucknott with Clifton, telling her Twitter followers there are “two sides to every story”.

Her tweet came days after Tucknott revealed his ex had moved on with Clifton, who he said had been a “friend”.

Speaking to The Sun he said he saw a text message from Clifton on Dooley’s phone which read “I love you” while clearing out their shared flat following the split.

“The blame is with Kevin. He’s an absolute rat,” he told the paper.

“I was getting my stuff to leave. Stacey was in the loo.

“Her phone went and it was Kevin Clifton - ‘I love you’ with a red love heart. I grabbed the phone and confronted her. She said she’d tell me everything I need to know.”

Kevin was previously married to Karen Clifton, who he split from a year ago after three years of marriage. The pair remain close friends.
