Joe Alwyn proved his love for Taylor Swift as he filmed her set from the audience at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball.

The young actor, 26, was in the crowd to watch the US pop superstar, 27, as she made her return to the UK for the annual event.

Keen to capture the moment, Alwyn was seen holding his phone up as he filmed the performance while dancing along to hits including Shake It Off.

Fans were quick to praise the “super supportive” star as they gushed over him on Twitter.

Alwyn and Swift have reportedly been dating for a year, but news of the relationship only broke in May.

Swift is said to have rented a house in north London to be able to spend time with the actor.

A source told People: “Her decision to keep her relationship with Joe quiet is making her happy. They have been getting to know each other slowly without any pressure.”

The notoriously private pair were recently spotted hand-in-hand as they headed back to Swift's New York apartment.
